Oak Field School and Greenhat Interactive Ltd are looking forward to piloting the ATLEC curriculum from September 2013. The official piloting will take place over a five month period, at four different sites across England with over 30 learners being involved in the process. In addition to this, pre-piloting will take place at Oak Field School and Sports College during August 2013. The curriculum will be piloted with learners with a range of learning difficulties and physical disabilities.
The sites that the curriculum will be piloted in are as follows:

  • Oak Field School and Sports College
  • Carlton Digby Special School
  • Hereward College
  • The Birmingham Disability Resource Centre

Oak Field School and Sports College is an outstanding Special School with state of the art facilities that is designed to cater for pupils aged between 3-19 with severe learning difficulties and physical disabilities.
Carlton Digby is a highly regarded Special School in Nottingham City that also caters for pupils with severe learning difficulties and physical disabilities.
Hereward College in Coventry caters for learners with a range of diverse and complex support requirements. In addition to residential students, day disabled and non disabled students also attend the College.
The Birmingham Disability Resource Centre is one of the leading pan-disability organisations operating in Birmingham, Solihull and the wider West Midlands. The main focus of the Centre is to promote independence and the development of life skills for adults with disabilities in the community.
