Athens – Acropolis view
Focus will be on preparing for the training courses to be prepared, together with the subsequent piloting in all partners countries: Belgium, Greece, Italy and the UK.
The ATLEC project team is meeting on 20-21 November at the premises of Associazione Italiana Assistenza Spastici (A.I.A.S.) Della Provincia Di Bologna onlus in Bologna, Italy.
The day after the meeting, ATLEC will participate in HANDImatica 12 (9th National Conference on Disability and information & Communications Technology) with a booth and participation in the afternoon’s seminar.
The 2nd ATLEC project meeting will take place in Ypres, Belgium on 25-26 June 2012. The meeting will focus on the soon to be launched survey among various stakeholders, and will also create the opportunity to outline the ATLEC curriculum in a first draft.

View on the Cloth Hall, called the Lakenhalle in Flemish, and the Nieuwerck located in the centre of Ypres.
The meeting will be combined with a presentation and discussion round table with the local end-user organisation and piloting partner Werkgroep Vorming en Aktie vzw (ngo).
In the context of the ATLEC project kick-off meeting, we interviewed David Stewart OBE, Headteacher at Oak Field School and Sports College, Bilborough, UK, and project contractor.
The EC funded ATLEC (Assistive Technology Learning Through A Unified Curriculum – 518229-LLP-1-2011-1-UK-LEONARDO-LMP) project, coordinated by PhoenixKM, and contracted by Oak field School and Sports College (UK) organises its kick-off meeting on 16-17/01/2012 in Nottingham, UK.
